Open Training at the Academy is for people living in Copenhagen who are interested in individual classes at the Butoh School; classes can be taken thusly:

Get in touch with and create your own Butoh Body. Boot Camp Butoh (Physical Training and Manipulations) for those who want a fabulous body in perfect balance and harmony, athletes, dancers, actors and others who need a strong, agile and flexible body.

Physical Training across the floor with emphasis on flexibility, balance, energy, rhythm, co-ordination, precision, centre, concentration, strength, stamina, grounding. breathing, presence and consciousness. An efficient system of Manipulations that stretch, heal, and make the body more pliable follows the physical dance training.

Highly recommended for Flamenco dancers and professional athletes, as well as bullfighters.

The Boot Camp Butoh training schedule is:

Tuesday: 9am to 12:30pm
Thursday: 9am to 12:30pm
Friday: 9am to 12:30pm
One class is from 9am to 12:30pm.

Price: One class 20 euros.

Whole day: 35 euros (a morning Boot Camp Butoh class and an afternoon Open Training Dance Workshop on the same day).

Open Training Dance Workshops:
Taught individually and in groups, include dance techniques, state of being, time, non-existence, visualizations, metaphysical exercises, breathing techniques, and much more. Explore the tremendous energy in Empty Body, Open Eye, Dead Muscle, No Power, Big Force and contradictory energy/movement/imagination; go beyond the immediate personality to uncover deeper archetypical layers.

The workshop schedule is:
Tuesday: 1pm to 3pm.
Thursday: 1pm to 3pm.
Friday: 1pm to 3pm.
Saturday: 9am to3 pm
One class is 1pm to 3pm. Participation on Saturday is for a whole day.

Price: One class 20 euros.

Whole day: 35 euros (one Saturday or a morning Boot Camp Butoh class and an afternoon Open Training Dance Workshop on the same day).

Hatha Yoga:
Friday 2pm to 3pm.
Price: 15 euros

Qi Gong:
Saturday 9am to 10am.
Price: 15 euros.
